When we entered the hospital, we were highly nervous and apprehensive. The staffs welcomed us with a smile and made us comfortable. As we went up the stairs, we were pleased to see a lot of baby pictures. As soon as we met and interacted with Dr. S. UMABHARATHI, a ray of hope emerged and we thought that one day our baby’s photo will also end up there.

After detailed diagnosis, madam stated that the medical cause for my infertility is multiple Fibroid with Tubal Block. We did not understand those medical terms, but madam patiently and clearly addressed all our questions and concerns. When we left the hospital after our first consultation, we became very positive and secure.

Madam clarified all the procedures. She gave us lot of confidence. We blindly trusted her without any hesitation. When I underwent laproscopic, hysteroscopic, myomectamy, and IVF treatments, I did not have any tension or nervousness.

My first positive pregnancy test came on  and that was the happiest day of my life. Now, I am a mother of an 8 year-old daughter.

At last we came to SISU HOSPITAL, and met madam  Dr. S. UMABHARATHI, the impossible became possible.  What I truly appreciated at SISU Hospital was individualized approach to treatment and I was surprised and equally impressed that at out first meeting she had thoroughly reviewed every details of previous cycles, and proposed a game plan to change our protocol/  in the hope of getting thick endometrium Dr. S.Uma Bharathi personally reviews all of her patients daily, ultrasound herself and makes every call interms of medications during IVF process.

I underwent all basic investigations and Lapro-Hysterscopy for removal of Intra Uterine adhesions.

Then they started IVF treatment and all my embryos were frozen.  Then 2nd cycle special treatment was done 2 to 3 times for improving the endometrium.  At last my ET grew 9 mm then embryo transfer was done. At last +ve pregnancy test was on

I delivered a male baby on                 The biggest piece of advice, I have, for other struggling with infertility is the advances of modern science various ways available to get a baby it can be done.

Failed infertility treatments are so discouraging and we easily get into mind set of after one /two/ three/ IUI/IVF, didn’t work it will never work.  This is not true, some get success after one IVF.  Many didn’t do but eventually have success.  So be confident and calm.

Our infertility journey was very long and hard and painful.  At last, we reached our destination with one IVF only.

For years I was never able to open up about the heartbreaks, loss and struggles we went through.  Now, with my heart so full of love and happiness, it makes opening up a bit easier.  I want to share just a tiny bit of my story to give other women hope and let them know they are not alone.

I was conceived naturally two times, but both were ectopic pregnancies, something I never even heard of before in my life.  Ectopic means the baby grows outside the uterus.  The first ectopic was in the right side it was treated medically with chemotherapy drug methotrexate.  2nd ectopic was on the left side.  It ruptured even after medical treatment.  I was bleeding internally.  So, an emergency operation was done and both tubes were removed to save my life.

I came to SISU Hospital I was told that my only option was IVF.  I went through IVF and I succeeded in the first attempt 2019.  My dream became a reality.

We feel so blessed grateful and fortunate to have our little miracle.

All I do know is that It cannot rain forever.  The Strom will pass and the rainbow will be that much sweeter.

Don’t ever give up.  Keep your head up and stay strong you will succeed.

I wanted to tell something about SISU Hospital staff, Everyone from the front desk to the nurses and duty doctors with SISU HOSPITAL than any other hospital,  all so patient and understanding.  I  have felt more support and love. I felt that SISU Hospital was my second home.

We were trying to conceive for over 4 years, prior to undergoing IVF.  After our marriage, we both wanted a family immediately. Being surrounded by friends and family members, who had no difficulty starting families, we assumed the same would be for us, but it did not happen to us.

We went to SISU Hospital directly and met madam there. During fertility testing, we came to know ours is male factor infertility.

We were told that we had to undergo ICSI treatment type of test-tube baby, ova removed from my ovary.  My husband underwent aspiration of sperms from the testes and they made my egg fertilized.  Embryo transfer was done after 5 days.

First time I didn’t become pregnant.  But 2 nd time I became pregnant we are very grateful to SISU Hospital.

Infertility treatment can be an overwhelming and scary process.  SISU hospital supported me and my husband in an entire way.  The Nurses and Doctors were incredibly caring and understanding.  I never felt like a hospital, but rather felt like a family. Without SISU Hospital we wouldn’t have our son.

I wanted to tell something to other struggling infertility couples, you are not alone in the process.  The journey is not easy, but you are strong.  Everyone’ s journey is different, but at the end is worth going through the process a million time over.  Please know that family that your dream will happen.

My husband and I tried starting our family for 7 years.  Two years of trying, I did not become pregnant.  Then we went to 3 IVF Centres, after investigating me and my husband I was been told that unexplained infertility.

We were advised IUI we went through 5 cycles of IUI and 1 Cycle of IVF. All cycles were failed.

At last, we went to SISU HOSPITAL and met Dr.S.Uma Bharathi. There I underwent Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy.  I was been diagnosed having Grade  IV endometriosis frozen pelvis.

I was been told to undergo IVF/ blastocyst culture/ Assisted hatching.  The doctor helped me through this our first fresh embryo transfer failed.

I was ready to give up and have my 2 frozen embryos discarded. Dr.Uma Bharathi phoned me and helped me through this.  I can say that without that one phone call, I don’t think I would have transferred our last two frozen embryos.  After talking to her, I decided to just do it. It took me 2 years to find the courage to try again.

At last frozen embryo transfer was done. After 7 years of headache, we finally had a + ve pregnancy test.  Now we have one boy/ one girl (twins).

I am so thankful to all staff at SISU HOSPITAL  and the stay at SISU was amazing.

My advice to other infertility couples was don’t give up. God always answers your sincere prayers.

We tried on our own for 2 years. Then we tried with Clomid and hormonal injections at the local hospitals.  We tried three times IUI. All failed.

At last, we went to SISU Hospital and met Dr. S. Uma Bharathi.  That day I never forget in my lifetime, she went through patiently whole of my previous case sheets and answered all my questions.

There I underwent Laproscopy and hormonal Investigations, to know what was my real cause for Infertility.  At last, I was told that I had very low egg count and quality.

Then I went through 2 times of  PRP transfer to my egg bags.  Madam advised to wait for 3 months.  Repeat investigation showed my egg quality was improved.  I cannot even believe that I conceived naturally when madam told the result that it was + ve pregnancy test, my eyes were started pouring.

I sincerely advise all infertility couples, that have faith in the team and be patient with the process.

Even though it was such a lonely time, and both physically and emotionally draining.  Remember its one moment in time, that will pass and you will treasure your children in the way you can never imagine.

Thanks to SISU Hospital we felt we were always given honest information and genuinely shared our sadness and happiness.
